Re: YYC Rant.

Re: Morgan Air
This is interesting, I did my commercial ground school through them and found it to be very informative. Re: WJ emergency yyc?
I was in a 172 on the arrivals frequency coming back into Calgary from Springbank when this happened, the initial call indicated a burning electrical type smell in the cockpit, the crew did not declare and emergency and just requesting priority into Calgary where they landed uneventfully. Radio call...

ditto on the ear seals not lasting long, the seam on one of mine split around 150 hours of use, still a top notch headset though. You can order replacemets from Telex or for a few more bucks I splurged for the oregon aero replacements

I used a book by Sabrejet, can't remeber the title, it has a starfighter on the front cover, comprised of 4 multiple choice tests, these were very helpful.

Re: Block time multi-engine in YYC?
I am not aware of anything at YYC or YBW, though the school at YYC was rumoured to be reviewing its insurance policy in hopes of allowing there twin to be rented without an instructor on board.

Wanted: C172 for week long rental (CYYC, CYBW)
I am looking to rent a Cessna 172 in early May for about a week for a Cross Canada trip (Calgary-Montreal) and back. The trip will involve about 40 flying hours in which I have no problem paying for up front. I also do not mind going for a check ride/flight with the owner/renter if that can help. I ...
