Re: Liberals Vow to Cancel Jet Fighter Project
I realize that through some inadequacy issues you feel the need to define yourself through your service time. Its funny that since I don't feel the need to do the same you assume that I have no relevance. We are watching an empire crumble. An empire that pursued an aggressive foreign policy, that di...

Re: Liberals Vow to Cancel Jet Fighter Project
Actually I don't see a "cool fighter" at all, not in the least. When I was a kid for sure but now I find that fighters don't represent what I love about aviation at all. The military doesn't turn my crank nor does their toys. I've spent a good bit of time in theaters of conflict where I've seen clos...

Re: Liberals Vow to Cancel Jet Fighter Project
I guess the other thing is for me is that chances are any state that would have a Gen 5 Jet hat we would be going up against is probably going to be a nuclear power. If it becomes all out war with one of those states, we lose every time Like bringing a knife to a gun fight.

Re: Liberals Vow to Cancel Jet Fighter Project
I think what bothers me is that the right wingers on this forum and in government seem to have a problem with the public questioning their decisions. This is a democracy, its more than my right to question these sorts of decisions, its my responsibility. This aircraft doesn't just represent an enorm...

If you crunch the numbers it works out that only those with chronic illness actually come out ahead with the healthy paying for the sick as well as providing profit for the insurance company.

Valerie Plame. Does that name ring a bell there Nark?
Bush, Rove and his cronies have driven the US right to the brink and beyond. We're are watching an empire crumble and we'e got front row seats. It was totally unnecessary and is absolutely a tragedy.
Now I need to learn to like rice.

Re: RCMP officer drinks with underager, and drives drunk
The excuse that he was inexperienced and therefore unable to make good judgement doesn't hold water. If so he also shouldn't be allowed to carry weapons as he is too inexperienced.

+1
How could we forget when the neocons have reminded us at every opportunity in order to further their own Machiavellian goals. I hope we never forget what we let our "leaders" con us into.

Aircraft that Straddle the M1 M2 difference?
I've tried searching but I can't find what aircraft are both M1 and M2 by weight. Ex. B1900. If you know which ones are, or can point me in the right direction that would be great.
Thanks

If 2wd drive is not an issue why not look at a Jetta Wagon TDI. Fantastic fuel efficiency, lots of room.

Re: Too far or self-defence?
If the 5 RCMP officers feel threatened enough my one Polish man with a stapler to kill him, than someone breaking into my home definitely qualifies for deadly force. In my mind if someone breaks into my home then I have to assume they mean to do harm. If I can, I will resist with all force available.

Yeah, you can have VIP service and skip the line at Woody's Bar. Just don't tell the owner you're a pilot.

Lost in Saigon, your photo lends credence to the idea that he may have been posing for the camera. He certainly had lots of room.
That looks like an amazing seaplane base.
