If I could make a choice..... piston. it would be a helio courier with an IO520-d and edo 3430 floats. Or the PA-18 180 with a fixed pitch seaplane prop and cap 2000's. Or i'd just say @#$! it, wake up and buy a beaver.

If you are serious about floats you need more than circuits. You need lakes, rivers with current, docks, rocky/sandy/brush shores, shoals, obstacles, cross winds, glassy, operating around points, low level nav and much more....and learn to tie knots. And get it all in 7 hours - oh, i mean 15. No wa...
