Bidding system

Once a person is hired and passed their probationary period, what is the liklihood of getting a different base? For example, if one is hired and sent to Toronto, how long can they expect to get Vancouver. I know there are many factors involved, but can someon on here explain the bidding system in de...

Brint, Your post is excellent. What people don't understand is that it's not their god given right to work for Air Canada or any company for that matter if they have the hours and experience. Life isn't fair for crying out loud, I would like to work for Emirates, but don't have a 1000hrs jet, wow is...

It amazes me how many people will play down the importance of an education. Everyones story is different, but stop for a moment and look through job requirements in other feilds. Most jobs will have a list of minimum requirements, and then there will be a list of additional requirements. Included in...

Pitts 99, think of it this way as well. You get hired by a company and then when everyone asks you where you worked before and got your king air time you say " i didnt work on king airs before, i went and had it paid for by your tax money." think of how well that would sit with your coworkers. think...

Flying West I hope there's a place, way up in the sky Where pilots can go when they have to die. A place where a guy could buy a cold beer For a friend and a comrade whose memory is dear. A place where no doctor or lawyer could tread, Nor a management-type would e'ler be caught dead! Just a quaint l...
