Re: Where do Air Canada pilots compare to other big airlines?
Yup the muppets that are chirping the most are the PFO’d crowd and the PES ( Pilot Entitlement Syndrome) crowd.

Re: Air Canada Pilot Incentive Bonus
Did you really think we were going to get a bonus ? I’ll take my 330CA pay ( 381/hour + 17/hour Overseas ) over the meager profit share all day long. It’s hard to hear the same rhetoric from the same muppets crying over the contract they thought slipped through their finger tips…….ugh let’s give it ...

“Very well said. AC pilots chose to lay down and not fight at all. Cowards.”
Explain please. I have had a full briefing with the union and full explanation of the last 36 hours. Just want to compare if knowledge is there.
Guess where my bet is ?

“It goes both ways though - how do you know?” I didn’t, that’s why I trusted the process. Let the experts that have been at the table, with the guidance of ALPA and our legal team bring it to the membership and we had the final say. “ I know guys that wanted to go harder and deeper?” Ask yourself wh...

“42% raise and still only 8% over WJ. Puts things in perspective don’t you think?” Yeah it does….AC 777 F/O’s make almost as much as WJ’s CPT’s. Top pay is north of 400K on the A330/787/777. 35year DB Pension will pay 198K/year I still deadhead in J class while my cousin at United doesn’t. We extrac...

I mentioned this before time to move on. If you’re frustrated with how things went join ALPA …..change the world. I was looking at the 787 CPT wages at both AC and Westjet and maybe someone can correct me. AC 389.96/hr + overseas approx 17/hr WJ 335.25/hr Seems to be a sizable difference when you ad...

Ok,
Didn’t change the outcome.
Still a YES.
I arrived from Europe the other day and everyone going through customs anticipates a YES majority as well.
Even on the forums the discussion has dried up.

On the night we received the TA with the summary the sheet I was not impressed, to say the least. I was upset as a lot of you were, but I have since softened my opinion. I went to the union meetings, spoke with the Facts groups, questioned the lawyers remarks and then sent Dart after Dart why I thou...

“it's an improvement why does it say increase“
They are talking about increasing past the 16 maximum days.
If they have too.
Right now they can have blocks go to 18 days to find a solution if need be.

Re: Play The Long Game
Hey, have a question,
So what will the F/O’s be making on the new pay scale after they complete year 2 on the 777/787/330 and factor 80 credits/mth and Nav/Overseas pay.
I was just told no pilots completing year 2 would make more than 85K.

My understanding from speaking with someone in management, this individual became the interest of corporate security due to initial complaints online. Once he found out that certain social media posts might attract the interest of Air Canada, he tried erasing then deleting all accounts. Apparently t...

Before you ask, chew with your mouth closed, with your tongue moving the food from side to side and your jaw rotating slightly. Chew slow and steadily, counting to 32 with each bite. We don't expect you to count 32 times, but just ensure the food in your mouth loses all of its texture before swallow...

Re: Air Canada Orders 24 a321XLRs
My understanding during a chat with a manager was that the 321 XLR’s will be a presence on the Atlantic and the Hawaiian islands to supplement the 737 MAX. Rouge pilots will be moved to AQP thus allowing all Airbus pilots to bid and fly mainline, Rouge and Jetz in order of seniority. A cabin upgrade...
