Re: Float endorsement

I seem to remember that any Canadian Commercially rated pilot with a float endorsement, can teach me and give me a float rating.
Is that correct?
If so, could I use a Canadian plane and Canadian Commercial pilot if I could find such a thing in Florida?

Would all of it, or any portion of it be accepted by Transport Canada. Or, would I have to do it all over again up here, to make ...

I believe the proper terminology for that is... "Critical fuel to air mixture ratio"

Re: Circuit Altitude at CNY3

Photofly,,,,,,, I have never heard that the circuit altitude is anything you want because it is not a certified airport.
Can you expound upon that or paste the link for that information.
I have never heard of that before and It's a poor day when you don't learn something.

Advice oon Sight Seeing Flights in Namibia

I have a friend who is going to Namibia (and a few other countries) and she is looking into taking a sight seeing flight along Namibia's coastline. She has asked me if I could find out if this is a safe thing to do. She stresses safety. She is investigating two different companies, each flying Cessn...

Re: London Flying Club - 1978 Rates and Aircraft

I was gone by 79.
I moved to Toronto to become a sales rep for Acfield Aviation Supplies.
Instructors when I was there,,,, Rob Robinson, Paul Albers, Tom Fraser, all went on to Air Canada.
Best job I ever had. Wonderful guys who did everything they could to help me get licenced.

That is my handwriting.
Now you have to remember who I am.

Re: 3 missing in plane Northern ontario..

This apparently was not an attempted forced landing. This plane broke up in the air.

"So, bye, bye, Miss American Pie"
The Bonanza that killed Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, and Ritchie Valens, was called, Miss American Pie.
It was painted right on the side of the plane.

Re: Pilot License Number Meaning

I got my licence in London Ontario in 1976.
YZP 21XXXX
Then they dropped the YZP and only refer to the number for all correspondence.
Old age?? If I have to quote my number, I can't remember it, unless I say the YZP part also, then the rest flows smoothly.

Re: MILLARDAIR MRO HANGAR

Dellen Millard, the man charged by Hamilton police in connection with the disappearance of Tim Bosma, whose remains have now been found, made headlines in 1999, with a story fitting for a teenager from an aviation family. On his 14th birthday, Millard became the youngest Canadian to pilot solo both ...

I live in the country and we have Xplornet.
It's wonderful.
They have a new satellite, it's fast, clear, reliable and affordable.
I don't work for them, it's an honest evaluation.
Our dish is slightly larger than our TV satellite dish.
