Well.....they're not AC, but they treat you decent. Oh, and pretty much the entire fleet has G-530's, wx radars, stormscopes, working autopilots, and new paint jobs.

'Course maybe when I hit the big time, I'll take my turn at sniping.

"Airbus had the ability to truly red-flag the issue," American spokesman Bruce Hicks said.
It seems Boeing isn't alone in not accepting responsibility as in the 737 rudder hardover problems of the 90's.

It's amazing to me just how many lawyer members are on Avcourt er... Avcanada. It's great to discover that many of the pilots on this board are experts in so many fields. With the right threads, we should be able to determine how many doctors, dentists, professors, politicians...ahh forget it. To su...

A friend of mine is over there right now flying a KA200 and told me that several times a day the sirens go off and they have to take cover. He's had enough after three months.

The pay would have to be better than incredible.

The thing with wages is to take care of it early if it's bothering you. Otherwise it festers and an unhappy employee isn't a productive employee. Owners and managers can and tend to forget wages until you bring it up with them. :? At the very least you'll know where you stand and can take appropriat...

Wilber said: Sasquatch is on the money. CD, again you are giving poor legal advice. Lying to an investigator may result in an obstruction charge, and will absolutely weaken your defence at a tribunal hearing. Doc is right on. The fun flying, ie flying where I want to, no radios, xponder, electrics, etc is disappearing thanx to the brilliance of TC regs. Flying for a living just does not give the same satisfaction.

The 90 HP PA-11 combination is the best of all the cubs. It will be off the ground faster than a PA-18 with a 150 HP every time. Of course the climb never is as good. :-)

Cat the 0-235 will be very nice. One day I plan to put a 125 HP in my '11. Might have to go experimental. No TC BS.

It sort of depends on your PIC time, but you'll generally be way farther ahead two years later if you stick to your flying gig.

Two years on a ramp is a huge waste of time in my opinion.

I've had the fortune (or misfortune) to work in a lot of industries, including tarring roofs and the oil patch (with the BS degree as well PJ  ), and without a doubt aviation has the most whiners.

Good attitude D-stu. What's the matter with you guys?
