Re: GA Autopilots

Thanks for the advice Hedley. I definitely don't mind flying the approaches - I actually prefer it. For SPIFR, all I want is an autopilot that will reliably hold a heading and an altitude so I can relax cross-country, fold maps, copy clearances, read approach plates, etc. Anyones you'd recommend hav...

GA Autopilots

Hey Guys, If you had to choose a decent auto pilot for a small single like a PA24 or PA-28 which ones would you consider? I've been looking at some of the S-Tec ones. Ideally I'd like a 2-axis one, but the price gets up there pretty fast. I've already got a G430W and an HSI. I'd like to have somethi...

Stone Mountain Safaris

Their ad says they're looking for one pilot... then it says 300+ hours. I'm gonna assume that means how many hours you'd fly in a season???

Re: South Africa

The only problem is your PIC time... you will probably get stuck on a 206 for a year then move over to...

Re: Jobs in Africa and Aisa

I just spent the last 10 minutes responding to your post only to accidentally click the "logout" tab :( . But here it is again... Andreas, I recently returned to Canada after spending just over two years flying in Namibia. There are loads of operators in Southern Africa that hire low time pilots. Th...
