KBA Rotations/Pay
Regarding their current ad for captains, does anyone have any current info on rotations and pay? I know arctic tours were pretty steady and other locations were variable.
Feel free to PM me.
Thanks

Falsifying personal records
I have tried to search TC regarding the fines and or ramifications of falsifying personal flight records, with the company's knowledge and encouragement. And no it's not me.

Re: IFR Currency question?
Thank you Diadem! I put the "valid" as underlined to express that all I had to do was a PPC or IFR ride. I sure don't want to do the INRAT again.

Re: IFR Currency question?
Note: My MIFR ride was done 2010 May 1 in a plane.. . Your IFR is valid until June 1, 2012. You can renew between June 1, 2012 and May 31, 2014 by a flight test only, no INRAT required. To renew June 1 2014 and after, INRAT + flight test is required. All this is from http://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/civilav...

Single Turbo Otter Info
I am moving up from the ole beaver to a turbo (PT6-35) otter this season. Any info on any quirks, or how it handles, especially docking in high winds would be appreciated. I have had turbine experience and limited piston otter experience.
Thanks for your info.

No, there is no bond, it is not a flying job and yes the pay and rotation look good. It seems to look interesting, and yes, I have international experience flying in third world c...

Re: Fraser Valley to Comox
Well I think this thead has been pretty much hashed. Just a couple of other points to remember: 1 - Don't go flying a small plane in or out of Comox on that weekend. I'm sure half of TC enforcement will be hangin there. 2- If you're greedy or poor enough to try and fly for hire regardless of how you...

AT THE ROYAL BANK. Apprarently they give you a single engine fire, hydraulic malfunction, and total electrical loss in IMC. The toughest part is they do it to you while counting your money right in front of you!!!

Questions about DHC-6 and the ,Maldives Again??
I've read the mixed posts on the Maldives. I have a few thousand hours on floats, mainly beaver. I also have a few hundred hr. multi-turbine F/O, and IFR (All recent) I would love to get on with KBA in the dives, then maybe alternate between there and the arctic. If not them, then I'm hoping to get ...
