Re: Any planned hiring this year?
Filthier conditions I have not seen on a public bus, taxi, or any overseas airline. Is it the clientele that don’t notice? I just wonder if there should be a standard of care for customers. I try not to touch anything but it’s hard. I still am amazed by people in their stocking feet walking through ...

Re: Any planned hiring this year?
I am glad someone agrees. I can’t say if one airline is better than others, I really can’t. However travelling extensively over the years on several airlines I definitely see a trend and it’s not good. Gnarly gross table trays, carpet, seat rails, seats etc. My better half lost an earbud on the floo...

Re: Any planned hiring this year?
Is Westjet going to hire any CSA’s or groomers. First impressions are everything and I must say conditions for passengers both on the phone and when I get on a flight are the worst I have ever seen. What is management thinking? Don’t care? They should.

It’s funny how IT and pilots are roped together. I always thought it was nerdville. Now it’s confirmed. Road trip…..with google maps and herschel toque of course, maybe instagram lol!

Re: Transport Canada Ame exams
Jepsen books including helicopter book. Make sure you study irrelevant aircraft like 727, bell 47, Beech 18. Transport Canada likes the colour red for some reason so if any colour questions come up that will be the answer. Again TC typical government ass backwards thinking will be based on outdated ...

I stand by my comment. I know enough to get me out even if I have to crawl over a cookie to get there. They are definitely not entertaining either. More of an annoyance really.

Eurozone is already imploding. It’s only a matter of time. Borders in the Schengen area are getting more restrictive and If you don’t fall in line with migration policies you get fined. Furthermore if Ukraine gets membership the Union will be forced into a war and the economic situation will get sub...

Re: Trump threatens immediate 25% tariffs on Canada
All of the above is true. Taxes are a slaughter fest. Waiting to die for the “free healthcare”(see last comment on taxes), we pay for it anyways and it’s dangerous, filthy garbage. Seems to me over the last decade things have dramatically decreased to 3rd world. I would welcome DJT to take a swipe a...

Re: Cannabis for COVID-19
I don’t want my pilot drinking, smoking, ingesting or injecting anything that impairs. It’s the least I can expect from an airline. Flight attendants are entertaining at best and useless these days and the last individuals I would expect to save me in an emergency. Guys up front are really the only ...

I hear you. Was in the same boat years ago before pulling the pin. I see most companies not even posting wages which is weird in itself but then I guess negotiating is still a thing. I haven’t dealt with any firms as of late but they are out there I am sure. Good luck.

Aviation is not for everyone nor is any other job. In this case reading what this guy is saying I would say it’s not for him. Furthermore I believe talking to someone would greatly be in his best interest. Never heard a person be so bitter and twisted about life in general. Not healthy.
