Re: Women's Flying Scholarship

Why just for women? Creating future taxpayers and consumers is good for first world economies. Much as there is a direct relationship between phosphorus as the limiting factor for algae growth in water, there is a direct corelation between increased births and national future economic performance. ...

Time to buy! More like "time to get out of the casino...ahem...stock market" Some guys say that if you compare the increase in ,say, the Dow's price, to growth in nominal U.S. GDP (sort of quick rough guage of revenue growth constraints), the Dow was approaching levels that imply its seperation from...

Re: Mounting a GoPro on a Cherokee Six

I saw an AME make a (modified for camera ) under wing inspection plate for a 172, take the existing plate off, and put the modified plate holding the cam on. I have never seen any one really getting shot out of a cannon though. That would be cool. Nothing in the Civil Aviation Regs forbidding gettin...

How can I practice for TC's question style That‘s good advice above, But if you really want to ace it, get yourself a box of crackers, a parrot, and a bottle of whiskey. Soak a cracker until it soaks up a big tablespoon full of whiskey , and feed it to the parrot. then you take a swig. Feed the par...

Superdave gave my friend a ride, and then gave me a ride after an airshow . In his Pitts then. We were being rewarded for doing something good. He asked each of us how we wanted it. My (non pilot ) friend elected for "mild" . He got a mild (for superdave ) ride. My friend was thrilled. He asked me h...

Re: Avgas prices

Just grit your teeth and burn the top of your hand with a cigarette before you go in to pay for the fuel, a few cents a liter here or there don't seem to matter so much then. This a a good money saving technique ; When your hand gets too...
