it was an American registered private a/c. Canadian private pilot who lives in nanaimo. he had a choice b/t the rocky cliffs or ditching, he made the right choice from 2500' - i guess terminal had him on vectors when it happened. kudos to him for walking away without a scratch.

i would bring some paper tickets (zed fares) with you for the trip back. i tried to hop on reciprocal jumpseat back from germany and the counter agents had no idea what i was talking about. was glad i had backup.

hi. can anyone tell me what kind of schedule you guys have out of Smithers & Prince George bases? (i.e. longest multi-day pairing...how many single-day pairings per month on average...etc). curious how many pilots are at each base as well. thanks.
