Re: YWG training offers
I’m betting that the Feb and April start dates are for different courses altogether ie Feb is an enroute course and April is a terminal course or vice versa.

All of a sudden I’m getting ads again even with an adblocker that has worked for years.

Re: Any updates on training?
Not much to do until people start to get invites for the in-person assessments anyway, which we'll see when those start rolling out. Why would they specifically want to hire for FSS first? If a candidate performed great, wouldn't they want to push them towards ACC or Tower instead? What you have to...

This would be one step towards any new training starting up. No more layoff notices for current controllers.

Re: Tower closure predictions?
Fantastic news. Really, none of the control towers or FSS stations should have been put up for an LOS during these times. I'm glad to hear that, certainly for now, they will remain open. That must be a huge relief for all the staff involved. 100% first good new in a while. Next up....cancel all tho...

Re: Vfr
Winnipeg FIR is covered under the "Tower Progression Program". VFR Ab Initios are most likely to receive an initial posting at Saskatoon (YXE) or Thunder Bay (YQT). If they qualify there, they can be recalled to YWG tower within two years. So, you may end up in YWG in the end anyways. Good luck, st...

Re: Initial "wonderlic" test
Do you get an email that says you’ve passed the initial online testing or does your status just remain in assessment and you wait for an invitation to an in person assessment?
Thanks

Re: IFR Pay Scale
There isn't anything as simple as a table to determine the Premium level for each ACC. But to help... YYZ ACC is premium level 1, YVR is 2, YUL is 3, YWG is 4, etc etc. There's actually a lot more premium levels than what I posted but those are for the smaller towers. Thanks for the info. So YWG fo...
