Every small Continental I have worked on uses an impulse coupling on both mags. The great advise given above is for a Lycoming with only one impulse coupling.

A FAA STC on a Cessna 150 is totally valid in Canada. Cessna's are built under a FAA Type Certificate, therefore a FAA issued STC is valid.

they have a segregated crew rest area though comprised of a seat with a partioned curtain to give them privacy
This does not exist on the WJ767's. My dad does not fly them, but I maintain them.

I was watching the baggage dudes load a powered chair into the front pit of a 37 NG today and they had to tip it on its' side to get it through the baggage/cargo door. You can buy a digital voltmeter that plugs into the cig/aux plug to see what your voltage is doing. I even saw one that had voltmeter and 2 USB charging ports the other day. If you check out Flightaware right now, you will see that all 3 WJ flights to LGW are pretty much on time! It has been that way for the past couple of weeks. It looks like the maintenance issues are hopefully getting worked out.

Most helicopter folks have no or very little experience working on piston engines. There are many operators using Robinson helicopters and most of those are piston powered. Rockie is correct about airline plug doors. L1 door on a 37 NG is approx. 3'x6' ?? That equals around 18 ft^2= around 2600 in^2. Max differential pressure in a NG is 9.1 psi. 9psi x 2600^2=23660 lbs. Doors on a 67 are much larger, so WAY more force keeping them closed.

I have also seen the aluminum under the exhaust flange so corroded that there was nothing left for the flange to seal to. Chunks of corroded aluminum came off with the flange gasket.. And yes, I have also broken exhaust studs while trying to remove exhaust nut.

I completely agree with the FAA system were the builder who has spent many years and sometimes thousands of hours constructing his aircraft gets a limited A&P licence to inspect and repair his aircraft.
