"a reasonable salary" LOL.... for someone with the experience you show you have it seems hard to believe that you would use the words reasonable and salary in the same sentence.

Re: PK 3000 vs EDO 2870/2960 on C-180
I have a lot of time on the PK's and the Edo's and Caps too and I'd go for the pk they have a nice flat top for walking on and they are good in rough water, I found that when heavy the pk was a bit of a pig in flight as they are not as streamlined as the edo's or the caps they would tend to give a p...

I vaguely remember one in Inuvik operating off the river in the 60's but I was knee high to a mosquito so I don't recall who was operating it I just remember how ugly it was.

Re: First Air off course
I would only rate a skill as unnecessary if it turned out that it wasn't any use in avoiding being lost and off course. One thing is for sure, nobody on the flight in question was taking star or sun shots, or NDB fixes, or dead reckoning, or any other "unnecessary" activity. I think it's interesting...

Here here lost in north... very well said, I can't speak for everyone else but I think you sure did hit the nail on the head with your comments on the pontiffs. The constant holier than all attitude is truly tiresome.

/quote] Really? Pilots should not be concerned with missuse of the medivac system because they are highly trained and know when to fly and when not to. Bullshit. Missuse of the system was common when I flew medivacs forty five or more years ago and it seems not much has changed.[/quote] Ya really......

Re: Ornge Sikorsky Air ambulance accident Northern Ontario
Several times I have asked this question. What happened to the patient that was so critical they had to evacuate him/her at midnight. We know the air ambulance crew of four died on that flight. What happened to the dying patient when the helicopter never showed up? It's really a moot point, and no ...

Xsbank .... Im honesty curious what canadian aviation will look like when we reach this critical mass and are all professionals as you say. Specificly, who will rampies be?
