Re: Latest Position Bid
Does anyone at Jazz currently know what the chances are for a new hire to slip into a YHZ spot?

Re: Kenn borek gear collapse?
Not sure of the cause but most 200's have the gear driven by a chain and sprocket (electrically). Some have an older mod added which is hydraulic and have a nitrogen blow down. Newer models are a more up to date hydraulic system very similar to what the 1900's have.

Re: Canada's First C130J - Picture
To bad the Jercules can't land on Gravel, those composite props are a bit to delicate. To bad they took a great aircraft and turned it into a sissy machine. Umm if memory serves me correctly the Beech 1900 as well as the Saab 340 both have composite props....not to mention "low wing" so I don't see...

Re: Who here thinks the Canadiens have a shot at the cup?
These are all very true points but allow me to counter.... "Goaltending is decent" -- I wouldn't agree with this, the Habs' tenders have been very sub-par as of late, and besides, since when was "decent" enough to cut it in playoffs? I'm not saying they wont fair well, but this aspect of their game ...

Best response I've seen on here in a long time. Well done Doc, well done.I always thought the "slow clap" was when it took a week before it hurt to pee.

Provincial Airlines
Hey Everyone, I'm looking for some information on Provincial Airlins Dash 8 operation. I have used the search function but havent been able to find anything substantial. Mostly looking for info on, schedual, bases (St. John's, etc?), and as always, pay. Whether or not they are hiring would be good t...

Re: Sandy Lake Seaplanes
Doc, I see your point and I understand the similarities between a "bond" and a "promissory note". You are right. Now, the reality of this job is that the bond really is a non issue for the guy/gal that takes this job. It is highly likely that it will be a low timer looking for their first job. That ...

Re: Sandy Lake Seaplanes
It's a promissary note, not a bond. I know people that have worked ther for 9, 10 or 11 months. A few months short is easily looked over if you have put in your time and work hard for them. The "aggreement" is to protect themselves from some of the many low class pilots out there from coming in, get...

Re: Sandy Lake Seaplanes
I agree with Launch Pad. You will find that you dont have a lot of spare time, especially during float season. Some guys played hockey in the winter which is great if you can find the time. Do your job, stay positive and work hard. It will pay off. The CP is a great guy and is probably the best boss...
