first off, the a/c HAS to have an STC to be able to carry an external load(legally). secondly the pilot must secure the load, conduct the test flight (without pax) and "prove" the load, all must be entered into journey log. then the pilot may carry pax, or resume the flight(s). heard of a few recent mishaps in N.O./N.W.O.

i tried a fellow pilots DC13.4XL noise cancelling headset the other day. i was floored by the difference with the noise reduction on and off. i like DC but after hearing the noise cancelling function, i really don't care now whether it's DC or whatever. i've been flying radials around now for 4 year...

a few questions regarding the MNR. 1) what are time/other requirements for entry job(ie turb-beaver/twin otter) 2) what are the working conditions ie. -pay, schedule, base(location) benefits 3) i know the amount of actual flying is low compared to most jobs but oh well. looking more for security now...
