That is such BS, as one does an interview before the sim eval, not the other way around.

the profile is a basic ride... they give you a detailed script and then 45 min to prepare.

If you can do a normal IFR ride, you can handle the sim eval.

how are they going to get a left seat when they will never be able to hold an atpl???

All you need to make Captain at AC is 10 years in the right seat and the willingness to move on Toronto...

Anyone out there had any recent experience with submitting their ATPL application and the associated wait time. I hear it is 6 weeks in YVR right now... another example of GREAT government service... who do they think they are - the Passport office???
