I was collecting some pictures of Twin Otters for a project I plan on doing and noticed that the Canadian Twotters on floats have the short nose (the -100 or 200 nose) and the ones operated over seas have the longer nose (-300 nose) Is this just a coincidence or is there a Canadian Reg that won't al...

I had heard through an associate that Exceltech was looking for engineers for Bombardier in Mirabell, they are SUPPOSEDLY paying $61\hr and they're working upto 70-80\wk & they're making $20,000\mth??????? Can anybody confirm or deny this?? Sounds too good to be true, then again I worked @ dehavilla...

I recently spoke to the FAA Office in Detroit, they said you need to give them your record of training ie license & endorsements (MOT will supply all that) they also wanted a letter from your employer stating WHY you needed an A&P (in our case one of our jets is N registered). Barrick operates a GIV, which isn't considered ultra-long range. Last I heard, the engineer (who was paid well) quit to go teach at Centennial College. His reason? He was a flying engineer and was weeks away from home in Russia, Australia, South America, Northern Canada with the jet.

Trying to find out what is the pay rate for engineers taking care of Global Expresses and Gulfstream G550s.
