luckily its a free country....if he wants to go, he is free to go. Who cares if they were good to him...you gotta look out for yourself, and not worry about others......I don't think it is so bad that he found a job elsewhere...good for him!

I agree with Swamp on this one....leave your logbook at home...no need to carry it with you.....write in it once a week untill you get your ATPL...then write in in whenever you want.....try and keep it up to date within 6 months or so.....it can be hard to get caught up...

don't look for any hidden message here guys with regards to washing your own aircraft. If I walked into a hospital and I saw the doctors washing the floor, i would think the same thing, its a crappy hospital. If I was seeking legal advice and my lawyer was outside shovelling the snow in front of the...

i haven't kept a logbook for the past 8 years...waste of time to keep it up....unless you need it for future employment...otherwise I wouldn't even worry about it.....my company keeps track of my flight time..thats good enough for me.

i'm not really a union guy...however I think this "wildcat" strike was effective, and needed at this time. The unions have given up so much in the last while, it was a good chance to show the company that they all stand together.....you can't fault them for that, shows the company that it really is ...

i think open skies would be great for canadian aviation. It would be much better for consumers and in the long run be better for everyone.
