Re: FSS Direct Entry
Like I said, I didn't get room & board paid for and that cost a lot more than $1000. I'll take room & board over tuition back any day.
Think about it, what would you rather do pay for your room and food for 5-6~ months or get $1000?

Re: FSS Direct Entry
It was a completely new test-bed kind of pilot project so they wanted to show their appreciation I believe for being guinea pigs. We weren't paid throughout the school term like NCTI students so that may be another reason? FYI Ab initio NCTI students don't get paid through the training program unti...

Did you get paid from day 1 with a bonus after checkout? From the start of class? No. I did get my tuition refunded though and that was great. WHHHHHHHHHHHHHAT? Why did you get it refunded? Re: FSS Direct Entry
Honest question for you. I know the intent with this "pilot" program was to hire locally. So, I'm assuming you are from the local Prince Albert area, how will you feel when you have to move? Were you told from the start that you would have to move? Yes I'm from the PA area. Yes I was told about rel...

Re: FSS Direct Entry
I know this is quite old but I am the trainee from YPA involved in this program. I fully checked out about two months ago and am still here without any mention of transfer. It was a great program and had a lot of praise from everyone involved including the upper management. Definitey beats going to ...

Re: ATC encounters
Two airlines that fly out of La Ronge, TransWest and Westwind. One day Westwind flight calls up for departure advisory: WEW: Prince Albert radio, Westwind 702" Radio quickly responds: " Transwest 702 La Ronge radio" Hahah that's great. They call us La Ronge radio quite a bit as well. It's nice bein...
