Re: Ontario Flight Colleges/Universities
I am currently located in Montreal and hold a valid PPL license. I was thinking of continuing my flight training in Ontario. My logic is that since you will be paying high amounts for flight training, might as well try and get some extras for the money, i.e bachelor's degree, aviation certificate o...

It does not mean a pilot with an EU passport it means a pilot of Euro decent.
Everywhere is not Canada guys.

I applied thru Smile for a gig but they are very serious about the 50 YO age limit as well.

It is over 12500 and you need a type rating should still lock in your ATPL when you get enough time! Where did you read that it won't can you put a link in please. Very interesting. Ouch! Hello fellow aviators. It has come to our attention that a job opening posted on our website the last few weeks looks to be a scam. The posting referenced an airline in Iran called ATA and after applying, pilots received a detailed email re the Interview Process, including the need to make a b...

Melanie Sonnenberg, wife of pilot killed in crash and president of Atlantic Charters, disputes the Transportation Safety Board report. (CBC) So she disputes the findings but has no counter argument. "Inshallah" I guess! I know it is a tough call. I know Iran is accused of supporting unsavory activities, many countries are. So much politics! Re: how much Multi PIC for Georgian/jazz/porter?
Could be because it's all BE20, maybe they are looking for Metro, Dash, Jetstream PIC time. Maybe I need 4000/5000 BE20 PIC while others with Dash PIC need only 500. You are correct. Georgian won't hire anyone as a direct entry FO onto the 1900 without at least 500 hours of -8 PIC. This is why Port...

Oops sorry HiLo, Disregard all below. Freezing point of seawater 28 °F Seawater is denser than both fresh water and pure water (density 1.0 g/ml at 4 °C (39 °F)) because the dissolved salts increase the mass by a larger proportion than the volume. The freezing point of seawater decreases as salt con...

Re: Anyone had a RAIC pass lately? Wait time?
6 months? Really? Longest wait I've had is two weeks. YYCs pass office won't even let you apply for renewal greater than 90 days in advance. Calgary actually puts an artificial expiry date on your raic (6 months prior to actual hard expiry). So when you go in you get a Red tag back as opposed to a ...
