Re: Flight college:Too late?
e-flyer...do you work for an airline or flight school? I would think that any post-secondary education is better than not. It's crazy to say that it barely matters in trying to get a job. You said college/university grads are cockier or whatever, but I don't think so. It's the people like you who ha...

Re: kitchener-waterloo flight school

Can you explain? thanks bluenote I shouldn't have said that...more of a biased students' perspective; she seems pretty laid back with instructors. Also, the fact that fl...

Re: Private airstrips...what are the rules?
You can land anywhere as long as your not endangering anyone/thing, damaging the environment, and its not private property. I couldnt legally land on someones farm just cuz its a farm - its just a big back yard really

Re: Forced Approach.
Practice at home over and over procedure what youll say etc and steps. This way, youll be more confident and spend more time flying than bumbling over Px brief, engine check, may day call, etc.

Re: Student Permit good for...?
Just a question...are u in aviation as a hobby or for a potential career. If you can afford it, you should keep going and not rest on a SPP for 5 years. NOT that theres nething wrong with that it just takes a while with all the tests PPL, CPL, INRAT, ATPL etc

Re: Flight college:Too late?
I havent graduated yet from aviation college, but youre not too late bud. Obviously, if Guy A has 1000hrs total time, multi-time, whatever, and Guy B has the exact same; the guy with a diploma will be hired first. It is a plus def. to get a diploma AND connections are key just like anything in life,...

Re: kitchener-waterloo flight school
I am currently a student in the Conestoga Aviation program in 2nd year, so If you have any questions just ask, but Ill tell ya a bit about it. They are thinking of purchasing a brand new 172 with a glass cockpit, so that will be a great addition to the fleet. Ive had several instructors, and they ar...
