Re: Foreign Nationals flying for Canjet?
I've got over 5000 hours and tons of jet time, I never even got an INTERVIEW! I appreciate some guys playing the devils advocate, but until Canjet CALLS ME for an interview, they're just being PICKY and don't WANT to hire guys in Canada, for whatever reason is irrelevant. I respect that fact until t...

Calling all Un or UnderEmployed Jet pilots!
If you are a Canadian, and have Jet experience, especially Boeing aircraft types, get in contact with your local CCRA agency toll free fraud line and report these Migrant Worker Pilots working across Canada for Canjet and Transat Vacations. My understanding from the guy I spoke to is that if enough ...

Re: ALPA, ACPA and everybody else who's involved in reciprocal..
Most of you are missing the point. Its not about the jumpseat, these guys are migrant workers, they're going home and taking their pay with them. I'm not interested in where they live, or if its too hard for them to go home. If they don't like it, quit and go home. Then the rest of us "unqualified" ...

Re: XPO Airlines
Too bad to the Zoom employees, at least some have had success finding other jobs, but some guys just like kicking the crap out of others just to compensate for their own shortcomings. Gonna start a company? PAY THE FRIGGING BILLS!!

Re: Foreign Nationals flying for Canjet?
Canjet can't find qualified pilots? Try looking in your pilot applicant INBOX, there are lots of us there. I'm sure the Canjet management has blocked some people from coming in, but that is a preference on their part, there are still lots of HEAVY JET guys sitting in grocery stores stocking shelves ...

Foreign Nationals flying for Canjet?
Heard thru the grapevine that Canjet has hired 70+ German pilots with foreign 737 endorsements to fly in Canada with Transat Vacations. My understanding is the government allowed this without a reciprocal agreement because they were classed as "seasonal labourers" (the guys who do the jobs no one el...

Re: Human factors emerge as trend in air crashes: expert
Clearly, as pilots are so dangerous, management will have to increase our time on duty to make us all more proficient with the aircraft. They also will slash our pay and benefits since we're not the same calibre of pilot that existed 30 years ago and therefore should not be paid as much as our prede...

Re: AC driver busted for still being drunk, hours later!
yeah, after the UA pilot was busted, now an AC pilot is busted, I think the Brits are overreacting. Use mouthwash before departing and you'll smell like booze (its happened in the past), gives them justification to test for alcohol. Don't agree to drinking to excess, but this is overreacting. Good i...

Re: Enerjet - any news?
disappointed to see them actively seeking foreign pilots to work there. I guess the laid off guys should just go drive truck while the overseas guys take our jobs.
