Re: performance questions on lear60

Alt, TAS, TAS, then whats 4th and 5th column ? is that burn ?

I think your biggest restriction will be weight to get up in the mid 400. most likely burn an hour or two of fuel then step climb to mid 400.

Re: Start Cycle

20 seconds is kind of short on a limit isn't it ? which engine is that ?

do you have the option to switch between parrallal to series for acceleration during the sequence to help speed up to the stabalization range.
just thinking shit that's short, 20 seconds fly right by in a flash.

Re: A Course in icing

BTD I understand the video is about Tail plane stall. ( re watch the video again ) I am referring to the part of the video where they compare the correct technique to recover from both a wing Stall and a tail wing stall, and how different they are. My problem here is with their wing stall recovery p...

Re: A Course in icing

Am I the only one that will question the Recovery technique of a wing stall recovery on this Video by NASA?. About ¾ of the way through the video. I thought there was a lot of support on this matter through another discussion on this forum of proper Stall recovery technique. Don’t get me wrong, I th...

Re: stall recovery

I am shocked God Help us. I am sorry but if an F/O or a candidate on a PPC ride or a student back in the day in Flight training pulled this stunt on me on a stall recovery, They would have gotten 5 across the eye, followed by "I have control Son" Consider teaching it the right way not what you are o...

Re: A New Low

I can only think of very few schools in the GTA that fly Seneca’s. 2 to be more specific, and both operate out of an uncontrolled A/P ......:) I must say, $4 K and a 2 year contract…is pretty funny. So assuming someone will pay the 4 K what difference to the operator if that person wants to piss off...

Re: A New Low

That’s a pretty interesting way of looking at it RVR. Either you are defending it in attempt to justify your personal choices or you truly believe in the concept. Either way in my opinion it shows a lack of principles…or no principles at all. Not because you have seen it work, which I am sure you ha...

just for thoughts

If you are thinking seriously about this aerobatic business, and feel that you can truly love teaching aerobatics for a long time, you may want to take more of an aggressive approach. You want to be extremely good at it. You want to be different, marketable. I have one recommendation, for few reason...
