rather than pull a cylinder couldnt a borescope be inserted thereby saving some labour? would that be enough to get a good assesment of the amount of corrosion and the overall condition of the engine?

I think all you should know maybe the reason companies are going south is cause they do a better job than you here? I work in this industry and the Canadian born workers here really need to step up their game if they want to compete in a world market.

Ahh the reason I ask... Well a company I worked for had an avionics shop that took care of the fleet, one of our duties was altimeter recerts. how long does it take you to do a bi-annual altimeter recert? if you follow all the steps in CAR's, wait times, etc how long does it take to recertify an altimeter to 20 000' assuming its a straight recert and no adjustments need be made?

not sure what city ure in but almost every GA avionics shop is a BOSE dealer theyll be able to order u the part. also u can check aviall they may have piece parts for headsets. Im not sure about bose but DC has a parts listing on their website for all their models as well as easy to read diagrams, s...
