Re: How long can a US registered Plane stay in Canada?
90 days out of 360 max, consecutive/ not consecutive doesn't matter. Because you are a dual citizen it throws a wrench into it though, since your here more than there would say you are a resident of Canada there for 90 of 360 or you pay the import taxes
and of course re register it.

Very simply... it does absolutely NOTHING on Jetstreams. British Aerospace BAE / Handley Page I believe out of Britain when building Jetstream aircraft ordered Attitude indicators for the aircraft all the supplier had on hand were these units ( built for another purpose/ aircraft, military I believe...

Traveling to the Maldives?
Thought I would get some very educated responses seeing as there are probably many pilots on this forum who have been there. If I want to go to Kuredu in the Maldives what would be the most inexpensive and direct flights available from Vancouver? Which cities in neighboring countries service the isl...

Once a request is submitted to Flightaware and your aircraft registration is blocked it is blocked forever unless you pay their fee to unblock it .....which is pretty hefty just a word of caution

Re: jumpseating
fingersmac I have also faced this dilemma. Most of the time I thank everyone from the check-in counter to the pilots and flight attendants but sometimes the pilots are busy or have already left the aircraft. I know they are busy readying the aircraft for the next flight and It just feels rude to int...

When the language proficiency test was implemented all pilots that currently held a license were grandfathered from taking the test. I never took one either. I think this is how it went.

Re: FAA PPL as PIC in a Canadian plane?
Hedley is correct, I have flown Canadian planes in the U.S and Canada, American planes in Canada and the U.S. At one point I inquired as to the legality of it all. They said exactly what Hedley said :) PPL licenses are recipricol though anyway so just apply too the FAA if you want a FAA license and ...

Re: How airlines deal with 'customers of size'
I agree thats almost better, put a seat at the check in and if you don't fit you pay for two, also put the seat in front of everyone so as to encourage skinny and discourage obese seat destroyers;)

What about charging all passengers per pound? I haven't thought about any repercussions yet anyone have any thoughts? Say a standard charge per pound depending on the distance flown? baggage goes the same way. People start packing less, in thier suitcase as well as their bodies
