Re: Cleared the Approach?
The approach name has to be issued as published, whether it's in the CAP or company approach plates. If the glidepath is down, the aircraft is still "cleared ILS RWY 29 Approach, glidepath unserviceable".

The "fact" that boxes of metal and whatever (CVR and FDR)are "missing"? Uh..I say AGAIN...I watched steel and concrete buildings collapse, and people disintegrate. Can a reasonable person watch that and assume the FDR or CVR would survive? The hijackers passport did. The story is about halfway down...

Re: oceanic crossing
if you were going to cross the ocean in an airplane without an IFR certified GPS, what would the procedure be for nav, reporting, and the such? are there special permits required? its low level, 10 000 feet and below and no INS on board...... Thanks Will you be flying on an IFR or VFR flightplan?

My vote is Wolf Blass Yellow Label's Cab. Sav (South Austrailia) or Lindemans Bin 40 Merlot (from S.A. as well I think) both are great bottles that will run you around $15. Also an Ernest and Julio Gallo Zinfandel is always a good inexpensive choice. Cheers If you like the Yellow Label, try McWilli...
