Hey .,
I like it!
I doubt you even need a pilot's license of any description to be a consultant. As an aircraft owner you should be able to rent block time to anyone with a valid pilot's license. Very cool! Such beauty in uncomplicated simplicity.
Enjoy the holidays,
David

British License or JARFCL conversion from Canadian ATPL
I am sure this question has been asked before however, Does anyone have any information on converting a Canadian ATPL to a British CAA or JARFCL. I currently hold several Airbus and Boeing Type Ratings and have the right of abode in the UK as a UK Passport Holder. I would like to know what exams I a...

Flying fish, Good question on the hydraulic pressure and "A" pumps. I have time on the B727 and older B737... we used to turn "A" pumps off with one company. With another company we used to delay engine start until tow bar disconnected as a powere bump could cause the "A" solinoid values to presuriz...

Another interesting fact about freezing fog is that it can form in temperatures above 0*C. Up to +3*C if I recall. The hold time tables for Type I and type IV give times for -3*C and above... The books say they cannot duplicate the effects of freezing fog above 0*C in the lab, however the effects of...

airway: My questions were meant to be retorical. But seeing as you have choosen to answer them.... I will try and expand further. Glad to see we agree that the clearance is poor and should be clarified. That puts us both on the same page at least. "Proceed direct to the airport and hold if my fligh...

And what are you going to do in the event of a lost comm? When are you going to leave your holding point and transition from your clearance limit for the approach? What does your flight plan say? Is the last point prior to the airport the VOR? If that is the case .... this is your new clearance limi...

there have been a lot of comments here about TC and small operators... I can't help but wonder if Labour Canada should not be involved also. If there was a minimum that every Cpt and FO had to be paid to fly for a small aircraft, pilots would benefit. Operators would also benefit as it would put the...
