I say find out who are these companies and black ball them (dont give them any help with parts or advice) then report them to the feds and see how they sort that out. I heard some companies are starting that crap with new apprentices also. Its wrong and we should help out these newbies anyway we can...

We have our medevac mechanics they get 50$ a night when they have the phone and if they called in its 3 hour callout time and a half. it dosent sound like much but if youre on call half the month that like 750 bones for doing nothing.

ya , but they didnt really do anything to fix all the older caravans as far as icing on flight controls all they did was make a kit that they already had , and that nobody wanted , mandatory. And youre right if icing is the problem just dont fly in the stuff dont make some retarted system that will ...

Cessna must be getting a little nostalgic going back to wwII . Even their new de-ice mods installed now with pod and gear de-ice. Good one cessna add 30 lbs of crap to shed 5 lbs of ice. They must be getting sick of selling caravans or something.

Recently we have also found valve stems becoming loose and creating slow leaks , on day we found our entire fleet had leaks to some extent.

We had similar problems with michelin tubes last year and contacted the manifacturer on this and we found out that they realy dont like the cold so we switched to pretty much no-name tubes and it seems to have helped.

If you check the goodyear website all the inflated dimensions for inner-tubes are posted.
