the best way to discourage the new comers is to tell them what the industry is realy like. As long as people hear the calls of mass retirement, easy money, a life of adventure and respect, ect. they will come, its like the recent boom in realestate agents, various work at home schemes and the gold r...

go to a shoe shop and have then put thicker soles on a pair of cheap runners, i know they can do this because one of my legs used to be shorter than the other, cheaper and more portable than rudder extensions, might help him in the bar too

If this person came to a company i was running and asked for a PPC that they would pay me for, i'd give it to them, and once their training was done i'd tell them that i hope the door doesn't hit em in the ass on the way out. if someone wants to do the training fine by me, but i wouldn't hire them a...

Wilga:
looks like a comity of people designed that thing each with their own componet and weren't allowed to look at what the others were making, i pity the enginier that had to figure out how to bolt that thing together in the end.

uncoordination of someform id say, either right rudder or left aileron(maybe anticipating the wing drop?) could have be just some freak occurence though, maybe the left wing passed through a thermal at the moment of stall entry causing it to rise, or inequal fuel burn, or something like that

$1 tickets

didn't they just pull the $20 tickets scam too? isn't it false advertising to say the ticket costs $1 but in actuality it costs nearly the same as every other airline once you get all the charges on it?

i think the adapter is more for going from mil, to helicopter, to civil, so i wouldn't worry about it, if your just training right now look into the plain 10-13.4's ANR's great but you wouldn't be realy needing it for awhile, and by the time you did your headset would be outdated, personaly i would ...

I have 10-13S's and have flown with the 10-13X, like em alot, i'd say go for it, make sure the pair isn't designed to be panel powered though, you need the battery pack as i highly doubt any of the aircraft you would be training in will be set up for panel powered headsets
