Funny how Skyservice is at 0, its by far in the top best paying jobs in Canada if not the best including summer deployments, with 1st year FO's with the potential to make well over 100k. Hell with the starting pay at 60k+ with year over year increases of $7000+ and the UK deployments paying 90 pound...

Oil Alternative? (re-visited)
Just watching a show on WW2, seems most of the avgas the Germans were using and about half of the war machine ran on gasoline made from coal. Did alittle digging and found some bits on synthetic fuels. http://www.fe.doe.gov/aboutus/history/syntheticfuels_history.html They say its pretty easy and rea...

IFR Pilot, You didn't sign a bond at all, you signed a bank loan in your name to ML. A bond like in many other campanies you mention......pilots are not liable if the comapany goes bankrupt. It is a transparent agreement, not the sad transaction you signed up for. You did not sign a bond, you signe...

Congratulations P-Thrust You took it up the a$$ 2+years ago, and now you're ready to go again... It's like the Stockholm Syndrome for pilots. Make no mistake, it's people like you who are the downfall of this industry. You get on here with attitude DEFENDING your position???? WTF? I've been in this...

well my daddy said your daddys needs special help, and that it runs in your family. keep with the 150 and go find some forums that deal with flight under 5000 feet. God dammit I cant wait til Jetsgo goes belly up.... Nice comment considering alot of families depend on Jetsgo to put food on the table...

yeah the bond is kinda crappy, and yes this has been beat to death with the whole evil Jetsgo thing and $30000 blah blah blah. I did find http://www.airlinepilotpay.com/westjet/westjet.htm interesting in that the first year FO was so out of whack with the rest of the pay scales and yearly increases....

Is that like running a JetsGo groundschool? "Hey Ron, hire another ten, price of oil just went up!"[/quote] That might have worked if Jetsgo didn't have to pay back the training bonds plus interest. I wouldn't be surprised if they were losing money on the whole deal just to somewhat guarantee...

Any chance the rumour that more F100's are on the way is true? Just the original 18 for now, 6 are on line and another 5 by December the rest next year sometime before summer. For the most part we have no idea what routes they will be doing, the ones right now i believe are taking all the flights u...

Reviewing the posts it looks like he/she probly is/was an FA. In that case what the hell do they know about maintenence, pilot qualifications, and by the way TC does look at our ops thats how we are able to maintain an OC. and just maybe your experience was bad because we wanted you out, lots of sen...

Re: What about this pilots who tried to reset IRS in flight!
Do you know how many emergencies we had overthere ???? I've never had any knock on wood. The only closest thing to an emergency at Jetsgo ever was a precautionary shutdown of an engine as these things happen from time to time no matter what your flying.(once again knock on wood). Still I believe yo...

Re: Jetsgo the new way of.......
worked there for a while.....and really bad over.....people leaving the place every months. Young pilots without experience and almost no maintenance on acft. Real dissapointed by my expereience. By the way TC MUST TAKE A BETTER LOOK AT THEIR OPS!!!!! Lets be serious you never did work at Jetsgo, o...
