i am no TSB investigator nor a TC inspector but the answer to all their questions is: COMPANY CULTURE Best first post ever. Used to deal with the “get er done” mindset for years. Toss all the technical horse 💩 around all you want...bottom line? Yup, you hit it. Cheers Illya They were the only bond ...

Re: Trump and aviation
Seventeen days before he even takes office the dimwitted, fatally narcissistic serially lying wrecking ball continues to ramp up the diplomatic, military and economic havoc 140 characters at a time. So far his 10 second attention span has failed to land on the commercial aviation sector, but sooner...

Re: Aircraft on Lake by Kasabonika
They must be up and running still. Their Facebook page is running and they have a very recent photo on there. Did they land it on the iceroad maybe? Seems sketchy, they have a really good price on a seat sale from YHD to YQT!

Oldncold's response is pretty tame and PC. Let's go with that one. Yes 3 million in debt and the overall failure of the ROF. Nothing else, nothing.......

0-200 Primer Question
Hey guys, I have an 0-200 in a 65 150 and have a bit of a problem. When I last flew the primer was working and now not so much. It doesn't draw any fuel. Yes the selector is on, yes I waited with the primer out for a long time many times, the fuel strainer is full and the tanks are full too. Just wo...

Re: Float pilot radio calls
Quite frankly, I feel that the regular "5 minutes out" and "on final" calls aren't anywhere near enough. Calls made on 126.7 and 122.8 (and other ATF frequencies) are all too often missed for whatever reason-pilot doing paperwork, tuning/identing beacon, performing checklist/briefings, or maybe 2 p...

Re: 0-200 Jugs, Piston and Ring
ifly yup I can add more info for sure. It is leaking down past the rings. You can hear the air coming out of the oil filler cap. Have heard a bunch of causes and ways to correct it but I just don't know. I am using an AMO but they work with turbines and well a turbine she is not. Kinda stuck in the ...

0-200 Jugs, Piston and Ring

Re: 126.7 In NWO
Ok listen now. I fully understand the need and the safety reasons to make position report and be safe. That is a great thing. But seriously to make 6 radio calls in 4 minutes in completely not needed. Not at all. When the crew constantly is repeating over and over again "conflicts 126 decial 7" and ...

126.7 In NWO
Noticed recently that the amount of really, really useless radio calls have gone up. Listen now I am all for making the proper calls and explaining CLEARLY where you are and your intentions.....but really a Dash 8 making 5 calls in 3 minutes going into Summer Bummer and Kas is out of hand. You don't...

I have worked for the guy that owns Verticle Extreme....He is a really, really good guy. I cannot stress that enough. He will give you the shirt off his back. It may seem disorganized but he tries very very hard to make everyone happy. H***** is a great person. Anyone fortunate to have had any deali...

SINGLE IFR
Hello,
Really need to do a quick, I really mean quick single engine IFR. Anyone have any advice. The INRAT is done and I have a few more hours then your 200 hour wonder. I would prefer to do it in Ontario or Manitoba. Any advice. An instructor that has some real world experience would kick ass too.

Re: Lockhart Air aircraft missing enroute from YXL to YAC
As of dark tonight the plane has not been found. 2 Hercs, 1 Griffin, 1 Caravan, 1 Turbo Otter, 1 A-Star and another aircraft that I can't think of have been out searching for the last couple of days with no luck yet. There was 1 pilot and 2 passengers onboard the aircraft. There have been many rumor...

Taxiing and CARS
Here is a question for those that can understand the CARS.
What is the rule for taxiing an aircraft from one spot on an airport to another when the vis is under 1/2 mile. Can you do it legally? Your not taxiing for departure just to position.
Ideas?

I washed my license and need some help.
Well it turns out that I just washed my license. The whole shooting match is destroyed and turned into a lovely pulp in the washing machine. What the hell do I do now and does anyone know about who to contact at Transport and Industry Canada to get it reissued quickly. PS I'm in NWO. Thanks. ...
