Re: Years of service
That's exactly what a lot of folks would like to know Really? The WJ pilot contract will prevail for the merged pilot group. The SW pilots will become WJ pilots. And yes, upon implementation one of the upsides will be YOS for pay for the former SW pilots. I hope you're right Rudder. Cause if you're...

Re: Days worked
On the 737 at WestJet mainline, take home pay varies greatly depending on %ESP you put in.
if you do the full 20% your take home pay WILL be around 2000$/month. It is very sad.

That's funny Tango Niner since there is no requirement to tell Gander or Shanwick radio that you are CPDLC since they already know. CPDLC isn't something that shows up on radar, it's something included in your flight plan. Yet 2 days ago... Shanwick came back with Confirm CPDLC ? So l will go back ...

... First, it’s pay protection, not a freeze, despite what some may think. Which means the new contract rates and annual steps. ... Hopefully you're right and we'll get years of service at Swoop. Year 1 Captain should go down to 58$/hr as anyone holding Captain position through seniority will never...

OTS WJ pilots are on the WJPDL below current Encore pilots... All FOs. No direct-entry Captain positions...
Don't see any similarities to the SWOOP situation.

Come to think of it, if you want my respect, from on "known" person to one "anonymous" poster on a public internet forum, why don't you go back to your post and clean up the grammar and syntax? I'd appreciate that. The edit finction works fine on this forum. Didn't proof read before hitting Submit ...

The company he signed the bond with doesn't exist anymore. If he stayed, he would have been layoffed a couple of weeks later. Even the parent company went under and still owes all previous employees a lot of money... the new owners are just trying to grab cash wherever they see opportunity. Don't st...

Re: Beware of the A380
To put the SLOP issue to rest, In the past Nat doc 007 suggested differently than now. I guess they figured the vast majority of people flying the NAT are equipped. Nat 007 2013 edition 8.5.3.B b) Pilots of aircraft capable of programming automatic offsets should preferably not fly the centre line b...

Re: Beware of the A380
- NATS SLOP is actually centreline , 1 mile, or 2 mile right. The idea is that everyone is doing something random and thus, centreline is also an option . It's all about creating more mathematical randomization. (Comforting, no?) Centerline is for those not equipped to do offsets. When equipped you...

Also if you carry a camera as a payload, and not only for FPV purposes, it falls in the UAV category.
