There was a show on Discovery about this mid-air a few weeks ago, I think the show was a year old...anyway they had interviewed the Father in the show. Crazy what transpired, there were so many factors that compounded to the collision, I don't really know if the ATC could take all the blame, the sho...

I don't know that much either but I do know when I replace what I currently have it will not be a 'home theatre in a box' idea. The Harmon Amp is a great starting point, I think if you stay away from Best Buy and Future Shop and go to a proper store and listen to different systems you might like wha...

I've seen F-18's, Hawks and even the Snowbirds (a pair of) do passes well over 200 kts, if the tower clears it what is the problem? I used to work at a field in SW Ontario and a F-18 driver used to come home on the odd weekend and would do some passes, etc to 'burn off fuel'. ----And what about when...

http://www.aero-news.net/index.cfm?ContentBlockID=7ea22f5f-3b8c-499c-a2b2-1cd4a8db1b87& I couldn't believe this when I read it. To be honest I have seen this all over the U.S. and Canada but never heard of so many complaints because of it, do people honestly have this much time on their hands? The o...

Discouraging the face of Aviation in Canada isn't it, but at least the industry seems to be coming around. I don't know of many other professions where you pay out so much to get so little.....its' good most of us do this for the love of flying. Peter, I don't know if other avenues might be more fin...

The MTO hires companies for contract work on the 400 series highways which would probably include on ramps and off ramps.....sorry that was bad, but it's been a long shift. That would probably be minimum at best for most operators/FTU, they would probably want some experience (like everything).
TC offers a course at CYYZ, check out the website http://www.tc.gc.ca
It's horrible to navigate otherwise I would have looked it up for you.

I thought the TwinStar was FAA Certified at OSH? I think eventually Diesel engines will have larger acceptance once some of the AME's get to work on them/train on them and therefore will not be so apprehensive of non-conventional engines. I think our industry needs new technology, many of the piston...

Vision standards for re-enrolling CF Pilots will be different; contact your recruiter. A re...

I have heard of so many combinations of delays from 'time of entry' to wings. Is this because there are too many applicants going for too few Pilot positions? One thing I would like to know is if there is a 'surplus' of pilots in the first few years are the applicants swiched over to Air Nav?
