C-172 operating costs

Looking into operating a C-172 for a flight school, sight seeing, pipeline patrol and charter. Will put on approximately 700 - 1000 hrs per year. Looking to get an idea as to the operating costs per hour.

What about the companies that hire these guys? I know of a few companies that will actually look for low time PPC'ed pilots. I've personally been beat out of a job a few times (that I know of) because a guy came along with a newly purchased PPC. Pissed me off big time. These guys are at least 3 year...

What about a complete electrical failure, in IMC, bad weather at destination, night time? Nav aids and radios aren't working. What do you do? If you did have cell coverage how would you handle it?
