Re: Confederation College Pre-Technology Program

I have said my piece and now I am done with this thread Yet you responded again? I think we have a troll with severe sour grapes. Thats fine though! with all that glider experience in the United States, I without a doubt agree you have more knowledge and wisdom than a successful graduate of the pro...

Re: Confederation College Pre-Technology Program

DJ Sam, Confederation College has given me the foundations I need to start a very rewarding aviation career. I entered with low 70s (high school) marks, and have since been able to pull off high 80s on every transport exam I have written (IATRA, INRAT, CPL / PPL). I had a friend who got into the avi...

Re: Canada's Replacement For The CF18 Hovered :

I would not be surprised if we see Canada make a last minute order for some Super Hornets. I am no professional when it comes to Canadian "insight" nor am I a military strategist, however the following is worth reading. 1) The F-35 platform is still being flight tested 2) Canada has not "officially"...

Re: College of Pilots?

What size skirt do all you queens - sorry, "pilots" , wear?

Lecturing in a public forum against the "know it all" attitude does not actually make someone start believing ones, (your) self motivated "know it all" attitude.

Good luck !

Re: Turning Down Jobs

It's fantastic to see someone with a sense of self respect! That's rare these days ... it's not fantastic , it's normal , at least it should be.... as flapless pointed out he's in a situation where he has the choice a beginner with debts and 200hr doesn't really have the choice but taking this shit...

Re: Aviation College Programs

Lot's of respectable posts here. A Confed Grad myself, I would not trade anything for the experiences I had . The staff, etc . I have 2 good buds from Sault College, who have shared both positive and negative experiences there. I have 2 friends currently enrolled in Seneca's program, both currently ...

Re: CFB Trenton Wing Commander charged two counts murder . . .

For the sake of right vs wrong .... this man is innocent until proven guilty . I find it hard to believe a well rounded, respectful Colonel in the Canadian Forces, is capable of such evil acts. If the evidence is hand's down strong, I hope that he ultimately gets what he deserves.

Re: "VFR" above the clouds.

because there is always someone that will do it. That one line, says it all. There's a lot of bent aluminum scattered all over the north for that very reason. That's the biggest problem facing pilots who want to run a safe ship. That's the single reason companies can get away with paying crap wages...

Re: Confed AFM Questions

The multi-ifr (to date) is mostly a rumor and there is no solid plan to incorporate it within the curriculum. Even though it is discussed every year (to my knowledge), there are far more important priorities on Confeds AFM list. But It is still possible, just not a top priority nor concern. They gra...

Simply loving the opinions from different sources, thank you very much and keep contributing!!! Below I've compiled a list of posts from the forums.army.ca website pertaining specifically to the ROTP CAM program. One thing I'd like to clarify is that although there is a college entry plan, it is di...

Re: UWO'S BMOS - Commercial Aviation Management - Flight

noticed a few things about the original / rebuttle post by the author . 1) biased. The Canadian Forces, does not necessarily want a degree IMMEDIATELY. 2) Rude / ignorant (if you can NOT afford quality education, don't blame others who can. Right, yet your on OSAP?) 3) The Canadian Forces recognizes...
