These five pilots have strong aviation roots in Saskatchewan having learned to fly in Saskatoon, Yorkton and Prince Albert, beginning their careers in northern Saskatchewan before moving on to t...

Re: High school student to attempt solo flight across Canada
I could care less if he's solo has an ipod or a monkey banging cymbols in the right seat. I like that he IS doing this with his ol' man. That's the kind of adventure I would have loved to do at 16 (or any age for that matter) with my ol' man. The bond they will share at the end of this journey...pri...

Re: Cut lines in the trees in Northern MB
There is a new power line going in (I don't know where it starts) but I know it cuts though our rice lake by Snow Lake. This may be what you saw.

I was at the game about 10 rows up from the Swiss goalie. It was a great game.

Re: Tail Dragger advice...
Hey Gord! Thanks! It was a lot of fun. I'll try and lose the "death grip" on the controls and try not to give your dad any more grey hair. Hopefully by the time you get back I'll have a few more hours (with one touchdown per landing) under my belt. Fly safe. J. To all: Thanks for the all the tips/ s...

Obviously needs work / practice Two wheel - My 2.5 year old daughter is always singing "People on the bus go up and down" That sums two wheel landings. o...

Two A-10's just flew over my office....Awsome
I wonder if I'm pissing off some of my co-workers yet. Airshow this weekend here at CYXE and every 15min or so some type of military jet flyies over. I jump up and pull on the blinds (which make a awful sound) and yell "Wow a F/A-18 or those are A-10's!!") Anyway...yes two A10's just flew over. Man ...

PA-28 ; small chip on prop
Hello,
I was looking at at PA-28 that I was interested in buying and noticed that the prop had a small rasin sized chip about 2" from the tip. Would I need to get this prop fixed or does it need to be replaced totally.
Thanks,
Ken.

Re: Power Flow Exhaust for PA-28 160HP
Thanks guys.
I've planed for the ancillary costs like labour, misc parts. Was just wondering if there were any extreme costs.
Thanks again,
Ken.

Power Flow Exhaust for PA-28 160HP
Hello,
Is it possible to change the stock exhaust system on a '63 PA-28 160HP to a power flow system? What are the costs other than the system itself?
Thanks,
Ken.

Cool. Yes I have seen that before. Always thought it was dirt or oil residue. I will now check for that on the planes I fly now
Thanks.

Thanks.

Re: 1969 C150J - Good buy?
For those following this thread: Asking price is ~20K The plane has only flown about 40ish hours in the last year, so not much. I guess this is the most worry some part. I do know a cylinder was replaced during the import inspection. I got the 10k hour from my flight school owner. I told him about t...

Yes, it was imported in 2007. How detailed are import inspections? I know it was used as a trainer in the US and would be used as a trainer here (ie to train me
