Try Tim's Terry Air in Centralia (CYCE). They are a good crew who do great work.

I feel your pain. I am in the same boat. I have an M1/M2, group 1, float time, taildragger approaching the 800hr mark and have been unable to find a full time flying job as everywhere I go I am not given the chance to get out of the hangar.

Could the camera guy (who had to get out of the way) not have waved his hands or signaled in someway? Just a thought. Then again if he did it wouldn't make for good tv.

I had the rotating beacon in my 150 work intermittitly. I needed to replace the power supply in the tail of the aircraft. This is just my experience, like stated before get your AME to check it out to determine the cause for sure.

Is the engine up to snuff? I own a 150M and my usual load is around 100lbs below gross and i have never had a problem with performance. Now it is by no means a jet on those hot days but, it has never struggled once.

What kind of doofus paints a bird-dog plane black? Especially one with no air conditioning (that Commander had the wrong engines). I suppose they could have painted it dark green and disguised it as a bush. Nice, all you Rubber Duckie drivers - Heroes of The North. Brave Heroes of The North, too! T...
