RPL to PPL
I took my PPL written exam in Dec. 2009 and rather than doing the PPL flight test, did the RPL because I didn't have the X-country requirement. My question is: Now that I have the requirements, is my PPL written still going to be valid when I go for my PPL flight test? I know it's valid for 2 years ...

Not so sure this quest belongs in the Flight Training section... There has to be a millionaire playboy pilot with no family/job commitments section somewhere around here

Re: Aviators of Canada: Advice, please!
Thanks, man. That's kinda the answer I was looking for and the drift I've been getting around most circles. Up North time seems to hold more value(although most Class 4 instructors probably won't wanna hear it). Hopefully I'll be able to find a gig that will coincide with those two years of school I...

Aviators of Canada: Advice, please!
A penny for your thoughts, ladies and gentlemen. I will be completing my commercial license with a float endorsement by next summer. I had the opportunity to spend a summer working on the docks of a very fine float operation and place seaplanes as my pinnacle of flying(this is my dream at the moment...

Re: Confed AFM Questions
Hey, thanks for the wicked responses. Can't wait to start the journey. I was just wondering who conducts the flight tests for the program? And also would you happen to know any of their favourite brews? And what happens if a pilot happens to fail either the written or the flight part of the tests? B...

Re: Confed AFM Questions
P.S -- This is a bit off-topic but I think I have read somewhere from this forum that Confed will be offering Multi-IFR as a part of their program starting in 2010. If that's true, would new students entering the program in '09 also benefit from the new change to the system? Or is this just a rumor...

Re: Confed AFM Questions
And by I chose Confed, I mean I chose Confed over Sault. (And I just threw Seneca's orientation meeting letter in the trash basket). Gonna miss those acrobatic Zlins, but heck, I'll be the Cessna master. haha. Either way, good schools both ways. God bless the Ontario government.

Re: Confed AFM Questions
haha, gwones no worries. part of the idea for this post was to get us future Confederates involved and rolling on the same page. A challenge like this is going to be best tackled as a unit. And the more bodies that make it through the cut off, the merrier. And the more connections down the line. :sm...

Confed AFM Questions
This goes out to all the Confed students and grads: 1) What does a typical first years schedule look like?(time classes start/end, are all classes at the ACE, do you fly with the same instructor each day, how long are the bookings) 2) How often are you tested during the initial PPL ground school and...

Re: Some advice....
Supercharged i can't help but laugh how your name pops up every single time the word confed is even uttered. you're too much buddy. all these stats and facts you talk about are completely nonexistant. i don't know what they did to you up in Thunder Bay, but you seriously gotta get over it bro. the a...
