If you fly for Imperial Oil, using drummed fuel is prohibited. Talk about standing behind your product.

Re: Wasn't there a forum here about investing tips and stuff
Cheers Jake. I cant't trade this time of year....too busy. On days off I'll try & pull off a daytrade or a scalp, but that doesn't happen too often (days off, that is) Also thanks to ZeroHedge , I've occasionally picked off decoupling between the E-Mini and the AUD/JPY. It doesn't happen for l...

Re: Wasn't there a forum here about investing tips and stuff
As you can see ISTP, there's 2 types of trading; Fundamental trading, as tzu mentioned, and technical trading, as Jake mentioned previous. You can do both of course, you may find yourself favoring one over the other. I'm in the same boat as Jake...technicals all the way; scalping, day trading and sw...

OOoo the plot thickens... A customer I flew with, was downtown before the cop cars were lit up. He says the cars had nothing of value in them...gutted out and just sitting there.

Interesting NS, good to hear. Regardless if they conduct flight operations in-house or farm it out to a local operator (a la York's EC-120), they'll surely be expecting 3-5000 hrs, ATPL-H, and IFR. Extra points for exmil applicants. A quick google search says they'll consider to train police members...

Hey Prop, sorry for the delay :smt008 For bush/field work, now would be the time to start approaching operators. Most have a decent idea of how their summer contracts are going to turn out and can start planning on staffing. If it's shop or component overhaul you're after, I can only guess that they...

Air travellers to pay for security equipment with fee hikes
>>Extra Large roll eyes icon<< Air travellers will pay higher fees to cover the costs of new security measures and technology, the federal government announced Thursday. Transport Minister John Baird said the government will put up $1.5 billion over the next five years to tighten security. To cover...

Try VIH for career advancement as well. Lots of airframes to move around on; 206 series, astars, 212s, S-61s right on up to offshore IFR in S-92s. A few recent acquisitions in NZ and GOM could have you doing some nice travelling as well. As far as I know, the Fort St. John base is their lowtime base...

On initial Cat 1, expect an audiogram and a resting ECG. This may be extra $$ from your medical fee. Oh, and Transport Canada gets theirs $$ too.
