Re: Has anyone got the call??

Seriously??? Jazz is running ground schools again? Not to sound too bitter, but I am very confused. In May 2009 I passed the interview, Sim eval, medical, and security check. HR called me and said I was a successful candidate, but the May 19th GS has been cancelled for the time being. Yadda yadda ya...

Re: Has anyone got the call??

Thanks TA/RA. Still have to pass everything, but I'm very happy they called.

Yes I was told last year that I was a successful candidate for the May 19th GS.

Re: Has anyone got the call??

Got the call today for an interview. Sounds like we will have to do the full interview and whole
process, same as last year.

Best of luck to everyone!!

Re: May 17 GS ( 2009 )

I was one of "those" people who was told that May 19th 2009 was the ground school date, but has been cancelled for the time being. I have been in contact with HR a couple times since, but still have no idea if I am in a "pool" or not. All I have done is re-applied and updated my resume. Does anyone ...

Future plans?

Can anyone shed some light on the upcoming
"negotiations" if there are any? I talked to
recruitment a few days ago about the reduction.
She said no ground school for 3 months maybe longer.

What do you guys/gals think about hiring this year if
at all?

Thanks

Insurance for pilots?

I was reading a post about a year ago regarding someone looking for a good company who would provide reasonable life insurance to people in aviation. This company has helped our family with saving a lot of money, and even helped us plan and save for retirement. The financial advise was free, and gav...

Re: 500hr f/o Medevac requirement, all on aeroplanes?

pp, the best advise I was given about applying for any job, was to apply for the jobs you want. Don't worry about your total time. And do everything you can to set yourself apart from the pak. Besides I would rather hire a smart modest hard working person who is trainable. I have flown with some ter...

Re: CBC - Life of a pilot

Oh ya, I forgot to mention the $$14 million our goverment is spending
to find out that one of our previous Prime Ministers' owes $75 000 in taxes.

Please don't come down to hard on aviation opperators. A lot of us
put food on the table with a cheque that comes every two weeks.

Re: CBC - Life of a pilot

Pilot wages are very low. But lets be realistic. A 703/704 opperation has a very small profit margin. There are a lot of expensive expenses for every opperator. Does anyone know how much it costs everytime the wheels touch at an international airport in Canada. What is the tax rate that these employ...

I believe the posting is still up in error. I've read that they and WestJet will
be soon using a better system.
