Re: Beech 1900 Replacement?
The 1900 is a hangar queen. It also burns close to twice the fuel of a Garrett engine (comparing the metro and the 1900).

Expatriate contracts (light jets)- need info
Some questions for those of you with expat. contract experience: - Are pilots responsible for their training (cost of type rating if not current on machine)? How about for recurrent training? - What kind of money could you expect to do as a captain on a Lear 45 or 60? - Good areas to work, bad areas...

Re: voyageur hiring forecast
Worked @ Voyageur 5 years ago in YXL. Great time and great team. The pay (captain) was good and the safety record was outstanding (Day VFR only). It's true, you did have to sign a bond on your first type rating, but they were the one to fork the 8k for you in the 12 months GIC. If you intend to stay...

Maxi allowable hours and instructing
Hi guys,
I'm wondering if instructing hours count towards 703, 704, 705 CAR's maximum allowable hours. I'm thinking of regaining the rating to instruct as a side line. The only thing is that my company does not allow me to fly elsewhere if it affects in anyways my CAR's times.
Thanks guys,

Ear Tubes
I’m in my early 30’s and I’ve been having difficulty equalizing for 2 or 3 years now (even though I fly pressurized). I never had any problems with my ears and sinus’s before that. Because of this, I’m starting to have some frequent problems with my ears: Blown ear drums, ear infection, earring lost...

Re: Wabusk air?
Lots of hours to do!
PA31 and BE10. Charter and cargo (pop and chips). Moosonee can be a lot of fun, but it's not for everyone, it's a northern town. I don't regret having been there, I had a great time.

long distance courses available?
Hello all,
I’m just wondering if there are any AME long distance courses available out there. I’m an automotive mechanic looking to do the switch to aviation. Thank you in advance for your the info.
