Few things, the Union at TS does favour Canadian Seasonal Pilots and the deal is still being worked out. If they manage to work something out and can hire more Canadian Seasonal pilots they will that will knock the Foreign crewed aircraft down a few tails. (also as an aside there are expansion plans...

Like most of us, pick the one that calls first... Both are great Gigs, I landed at TS (My French is basic and there are plenty of anglos on the property despite what some say here). Its a great place to be. Many of my friends at AC are similarly happy with their jobs as well....

Yeah it's ok when Transat does it but there are numerous post from your hero Gilles slamming SW for doing the same thing. Has TS hired tfw pilots yet? .... No.... They've repeatedly stated they will not do that, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and believe me if they company does hire tfw...

There are plenty of us Anglo types here, and you'll have the opportunity to fly a wide body aircraft possibly from day one of emoyment if not within a few years at most can't say the same for other carriers in Canada, (if flying a wb floats your boat). Salary for the first two years is no screaming ...

It's the least I can do in exchange for the ride, I jumpseat around a fair amount and thoroughly enjoy the privilege.

And I always welcome any westjetters to come for a ride to Europe with us sometime, it's free and we'd be honored to have you aboard !
