I renewed mine by telemedicine after a year off. TC hasn’t sent me anything…

Does anyone have recommendations for personal life insurance as a pilot? I’m working seasonally this year so will not have company benefits. I have been looking at PPIP but any other options and/or recommendations would be appreciated. Also anything to watch out for when applying for coverage… Thanks!

I know you are fixed wing but some helicopters have debilitatingly bad seats. There are a number of medium pilots who swear by Roho wheelchair seat cushions. They support you but don’t lock you into one position. They are pricey though….

Those are decent numbers. I haven’t really talked to any operators this year yet, but last year was a real hodgepodge of rates. The rotary industry sucks, but all we would need is another busy fire year and exploration to pick up again and then you will see wages increase(maybe). As a trainer the Schweitzer 300 has a left hand pilot seat configuration, so no accommodation necessary as far as sharing flight controls....
