Any pictures ?

Cracking the Davinci Code was easier than getting Notams regarding when the Mexican ILS being unservicable at some of these remote locations .

Three aircraft went missed from published approaches in that area about the same time , so weather was not nice at that time .

Re: Woman Takes Her Miniature Service HORSE on Flight

Back in the day when the certification process required a demonstration of the passenger evacuation to be achieved in a set time . No consideration was made in the evacuations process for slow stupid people retreaving their precious carry on luggage from overhead bins and slowing the process . I can...

Re: what we've all been waiting for

The hidden humour and true meaning of Top Gun stands out when you put the sub titles on . Some might not find the camp humour funny . The movie has more hidden metaphors than the Benny Hill show. Benny Hill got some great ones passed the censors. Top Gun had some really great one liners and if you p...

I have seen too many airplanes rolling when the Parking brake releases in the cold . I never trust the Parking brake and you should not either . Chocks are mentioned in the fine print of your insurance for a reason and most expensive airplanes are marshalled and chocked by persons who know how to us...

If they made it pay per view ,they might make more money from that , then the airport parking fees or extra charges for using the overhead bins :) The threat of releasing combat gerbils and hamsters in a confined space might be more of a deterrence than a single shot tazer . The great big bull prod ...

Re: Canadian Govt buys 18 Super Hornets

Canada can either spend the two percent of club fees for NATO in Canada or pay tribute to NATO for protection. If Canada re-commits to NATO by spending the agreed treaty fees then there should be enough money for lots of toys and noise makers :) If Canada spends the money wisely then a would give a ...

If we are serious about saving NATO by increasing spending to 2 percent of GDP ,then there should be enough money for more Super Hornets , more F-35's and some of the "NEW" F-15's . Re: F/A-18E vs F-35: Why is the government still debating?

Several countries that asked to buy the F-22 were politely told it was not for sale. After that decision those countries have been busy. Japan has been busy building a new jet fighter. Germany has been building a new Jet fighter. China built the Chengdu J-20 ,If Canada chose to buy those it could or...

Re: F/A-18E vs F-35: Why is the government still debating?

If the F35 project had of been on time and on budget they would have been on line already. Attempts to blame Governments for the company sales team overselling of capabilities is an exercise in futility. The reason there was no competition, is the F-35 was not even finished flight testing when real ...

While there is still room on our credit cards ,we should help get the F22 production line restarted and get some . How many ? Not so many ,that the credit cards are maxed out and we cannot get some A-10's as a bundle deal. The Cessna Scorpion might be useful for cheap patrol,SAR and little buddy sup...

My FAA CFI /CFII lesson plans for Mooney check out are in storage . I used to love flying the Mooney's . You can fly perfect Chandelles and Lazy Eights in a Mooney .The push rod connections give instant feedback and allow for easy flying free from cable slack that some other small planes suffer from...
