Aztec down at CYFD
Just saw on the local news that there was a Piper Aztec down after takeoff at CYFD today. Not much for details on the news, said it was a single pilot (pilot is supposed to be ok, "bump on the head"), hit a tree or something after takeoff and went down in a corn field. Brantford Flying Club aircraft...

Re: 500hr f/o Medevac requirement, all on aeroplanes?
I don't think I've ever seen the word "powered" on a job ad. Anywhere. If they require 500 hours flight time, just ad the glider, or for that matter swing wing time to your total. If it ads up to 500 hours of flight time, well you DO have 500 hours flight time. Follow? Sometimes, it's better NOT to...

500hr f/o Medevac requirement, all on aeroplanes?
Just a quick question to see if anyone knows the technicalities of the 500hr f/o medevac requirement? I have around 400hrs in aeroplanes and around 75h in gliders. Does anyone know forsure if these hours count for anything when it comes to that requirement, I'm guessing they don't, but it's worth a ...

Hi, I'm a long time lurker on the boards, but I've found myself on here more and more recently, so I figured I'd sign up. I'm trying to decide what to do.. I have just over 400hrs, I don't have a flying job right now but I am trying to build time. I tow gliders on weekends, and get to fly at the com...
