Since you guys are FSS bashing I thought I would throw in a good word for CYQU FSS. Great bunch of guys to work with! Very helpful and cooperative and not out to write you up for any reason. They work as hard as many controllers. Keep up the good work!

If it is, then I guess all the time those same pilots spend training other pilots on their aircraft shouldn't count as 'real' time either! :smt064

From other pilots I know that live in NS, there are lots of low time pilots living there already that are trying to get on with them despite the low pay and long hours. If your willing to put yourself out there then get in line for a job. Keep your expectations low so you won't be too disappointed, ...

You've probably finished the job by now....
but a combination of shimming behind the board and mudding the joint will give you the best results, for an old uneven wall.
Old houses are sooo much fun to renovate

I have alot of disdain for guys that go out and buy ppc's for the sole purpose of attaining a job they don't have yet. Its the employer's responsibility to provide the ppc, and of course the employer is going to want to do this to determine how good (or bad) of a pilot they hired regardless. It is j...

If any other professional like a doctor, lawyer, teacher, etc... did this, you can bet they would certainly point out the profession. Who would really like visiting a doctor who performs lewd behaviour in public. Imagine what he might be capable to doing during an inspection of a patient's privates....

Regarding RH base at an MF, have a look at CAR 602.96 3)c) 602.96 (1) This section applies to persons operating VFR or IFR aircraft at or in the vicinity of an uncontrolled or controlled aerodrome. (2) Before taking off from, landing at or otherwise operating an aircraft at an aerodrome, the pilot-i...

Navajoflyer is correct.
In CAR 702 and 722 just a PPC or PCC (depending on COM) is required for day VFR aerial ops. Sweet deal for a low timer if you can find it.

They liked it because they felt it kept everyone on there toes so to speak. Instead it lead to some really low morale, and eventually the ...
