So does anyone have any idea who our military commanders fear are planning to invade this fine country from the north?
What a bunch of bunch of shit! What next? Submarines?

Be careful not to mention having flown anything larger or faster than the CP. He's a bit insecure in that area. Just pretend to know less than him and his henchman, nod and smile and you should do just fine.

Re: Liberals Vow to Cancel Jet Fighter Project
The f-35 is going to replace all the a/c in the american forces because of the different options that are available. (army, navy, air force) Ever hear of the dope that put all his eggs in one basket? Well said Mr. Wings. But some dopes don't even realize they are the dopes so I'm not certain the im...

Re: Liberals Vow to Cancel Jet Fighter Project
Why does Canada need fighter jets at all? Really, I'm serious here. I'm not just trying to evoke some sort of emotional set of rebukes for my ignorance in the subject. I just have no idea what Canada needs fighter jets for at all. Yes I recall when we had some jets in Qatar during the first Gulf con...

How about creating a forum(s) for expat pilots?
For instance in PPrune there are forums for Middle East Africa Asia etc. etc. I'm headed back home after 3 months in Canada and I've enjoyed reading and posting on AvCanada. So why not add some forums for the crew overseas and the ones that want to fly somewhere else? Just an idea. Unless of course ...

Re: Higher time, can't find a job
It ain't just you! I've been in BC for almost 3 months and I've got loads of time on everything between Twin Otter (floats) and B747 Classic (capt) and there is so little in the way of jobs and lots of experienced guys looking. So I give up. I'm headed back to the last company I flew for in a couple...

Re: ACPA to fight Jazz's 757 acquisition
The rumour I hear is that it will be ex-Skyservice pilots flying the TC 757's under contract to JAZZ. I wouldn't be too surprised if it turns out to be ex-Skyservice 757's as well. Who would a guy talk to if he wanted to jump on this bandwagon in order to do a bit of 757 flying incountry ? Any idea...

Re: hiring at Jazz!!!
But surely Jazz does not have any pilots sharp enough to convert onto the 757. From what I've seen the jump to a retractable twin must have been hard going for the average Jazz pilot.
Anyone else care to back me up on this one??

No, no, you've got it all wrong ... the 1 in 60 rules states that if a pilot directly asks 60 women in bar if they want to screw, one won't say no Read no further. This is the only comment worth reading. The others are all pure crap. Nobody ever uses the 1 in 60 rule when flying for a living unless...

"Ever seen a B747-400 without winglets?? Wonder why??" 1. No 2. Not until now... But I am eager to hear why! JAL has some 747-400s without winglets used only for short haul domestic flying. It boils down to the weight penalty versus the savings in fuel burn. You must fly a 747 for a certain distanc...
