Does anyone know who will be handling maintenance at London Gatwick for the new Westjet service?? Or are Westjet setting up their own operation over there?
Cheers

Re: King air 200 blown current limiters
Hi. How old Is the 200? When starting the The second engine in the older generation 200s You must turn the generator on the already Running engine off (after the gen load has come down a bit) before you attempt to start The other engine or it can blow the current Limiter. The newer aircraft have cro...

Re: King Air Wing Strap
Hi
Just to clarify, all King Air 350's have bolt on wings.. Not the one piece type like the 1900.
I have worked on them as a mechanic since 1990.

748 Spot on, what you have said goes for the same in the UK. Too many wingeing twats around, talking / sitting on the computer all day doesnt get the aircraft fixed / out the door. I just hope Canadian Aviation is not full of the negative types on this forum, it sure would make for a depressing plac...

Re: bleed air failure
L382 Check the EVA tubing which runs along side the bleed air pipework for the "failure" side, like others have said the tubing runs under the cabin floor up to the floor beneath the P2 seat where the pressure switches are. It also runs out to the engine via the inboard leading edges and into the un...

Re: cessna 172 elevator deflection
Papa
I`m just suggesting it may not be in the interest of saftey to rig a control IAW someones say so, and I am not giving out control deflection angles / figures as advice.
This maybe an Aviation forum but I don`t think its the place to get control rigging figures.
No offence intended

Re: cessna 172 elevator deflection
Get the latest revision of the airframe maintenance manual /shop manual and rig the control IAW that. If the info is not in the manual (it will be)....call Cessna`s product support.
I cant believe someone is asking advice on how to rig a flying control on an internet forum ...WTF.
